Spending much time in Denmark in the middle of rain and an active outdoor culture inspired the creation of Rainspotter. Faced with the challenge of accurately predicting rain for cycling and outdoor activities, I aimed to develop a solution that could benefit not just me but many others facing similar issues.

Driven by frustration with the lack of a reliable rain prediction app and the curiosity for developing a digital-only product, I transitioned from physical product design to the digital realm. Rainspotter led to a solution that integrates rain forecasts into the lives of people in the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia who seek accurate and timely rain forecasts.

From this personal frustration, Rainspotter evolved into a widely embraced rain app with over 100,000 active users. Its success lies in user-centric design, providing a seamless digital experience for those planning outdoor activities in the face of uncertain weather.
