Fruitbowl
During my exchange in Sydney I got the assignment to create a fruit bowl out of aluminum. The requirement was to make it out of one piece of flat aluminum. By using a laser cutting I was able to create a grid consisting out of 18 triangles and 17 folding lines. I tried to achieve a complex but minimalistic bowl with no similar faces. I tried to create opening where the fruit would be visible and create a contrast with the black anodized aluminum. The result is a clean ,almost stealth-like, hand folded fruit bowl.
